Athens Rugby Summer Camps.

Athens Rugby Club for a third consecutive summer continued its visits to summer camps in the Athens Area.

The last demonstration of rugby for the summer happened last week at Camp Kinderland in Kalamos, where 600 kids from the age of 10 to 16 had the chance to be introduced to rugby by the players of the Greek champions.

The demonstration began with an introduction to the game, the basic rules, moves etc. and concluded with a game in which the campers took part.

The aim for the ‘owls’ is to spread the game into the whole of Greece – giving a major emphasis in the young ages which is the future of Hellenic Rugby.
